About the field
The largest center for economic education is the University of Economics in Bratislava (EUBA). Economic and management programs are also taught at specialized faculties of other universities – particularly in Košice, Žilina, and Banská Bystrica.
The fields cover management, finance, banking, international business, marketing, and business informatics. Full-time study in Slovak at state universities is free; some programs are available in English (paid).
The diploma is recognized in the EU. To enroll from Ukraine, you need recognition of your high school diploma, and for study in Slovak, language proficiency at level B1–B2. Most bachelor's programs admit students based on their average high school grade, without entrance exams.
