Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra is a state higher education institution, founded in 1959 as a pedagogical institute. Located in the city of Nitra, Nitra Region; as of 2024/2025, it educated 7,420 students, and in 2025/2026, more than 8,000 are expected.

The admission method depends on the program: some accept based on the high school diploma average without exams, medical and creative faculties conduct entrance or talent exams.
