Are there entrance exams at the University of Economics in Bratislava (EUBA)?+

It depends on the faculty. For example, at the Faculty of Economic Informatics, the entrance exam is written tests on general study prerequisites and one foreign language (June 15–19, 2026).

A foreigner (except Czech citizens) must take an entrance exam in Slovak; those who took their matura in Slovak take another language from the faculty's list.

Some faculties may waive the exam based on academic performance — check the general and faculty admission rules for conditions.

How much does it cost to submit an application to EUBA?+

The standard fee for an e-application is €40. For the "Economics and Law" program or one program in English, it is €60, and for standard programs in English, it is €90.

If you apply to several EUBA faculties, you must create a separate application and pay the fee for each faculty.

Is it possible to study at EUBA in English?+

Yes, EUBA offers programs in English, but studying in a foreign language is paid (the application fee for English-language programs is also higher — €60–€90).

Studying in Slovak full-time within the standard length of study is free for everyone, including Ukrainians.

EUBA specializes in economics, finance, management, and business informatics; several foreign languages are also taught (English, German, French, Spanish, Russian, Italian).

How much does the dormitory of the University of Economics in Bratislava cost?+

EUBA has dormitories ŠD Horský park (Prokopa Veľkého 41) and ŠD Starohájska 8. In blocks E/F Horský park, the price is about €115 per person/month.

When is the application deadline for EUBA for 2026/2027?+

Applications for the 1st (bachelor's) and 2nd (master's) degree in Slovak are submitted from 15.11.2025 to April.

The application fee must also be paid by April – otherwise, the applicant will not be included in the admission process.

For master's studies, the admission (qualification selection based on bachelor's grades) ends on May.
