Faculty of Security Engineering
About the Faculty
The Faculty of Safety Engineering is part of the University of Žilina in Žilina. This department focuses on training engineers who work in occupational safety, civil protection during emergencies, and crisis management.
The study process includes bachelor's, master's, and doctoral levels. The main fields are infrastructure safety and man-made threats. Teaching is mainly in Slovak, with the option to study some courses in English.
Ukrainian applicants can study for free if they know the Slovak language. Applications (prihláška) are open until the end of February or March. Accommodation in a dormitory (internát) requires a separate registration.
