Bratislava has expanded the PAAS (Bratislava Parking Assistant) regulated parking system: from July 22, 2026, it will be active in the new zone NM3 - Kramáre in the Nové Mesto district. This is the fifth regulated zone in this district, reports Sme.sk.
If you drive to Kramáre to the hospital, to work, or to visit someone — you will have to pay on weekdays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 AM (midnight) and on Sundays from 6:00 PM to 12:00 AM (midnight). The hourly rate for visitors is 1 euro.
How much it costs for residents
The annual resident card for those registered in the NM3 - Kramáre zone:
- 39 euros for the first car per apartment
- 150 euros for the second
- 500 euros for the third
Registration for cards opened on June 22, a month before the start. If you live in this part of Nové Mesto and have not yet registered for a card — do it on the PAAS website, because paying the hourly visitor rate for a year of parking will cost hundreds of euros.
One-way traffic and a warning instead of a fine
Along with the launch of the zone, the city changed the traffic organization to add parking spaces and increase safety. The streets Malá Pražská, Ďurgalova, Jelšová, and Hrdličkova have become one-way — if you are used to driving there automatically, check your routes.
A nice detail: from April 1, 2026, Bratislava has a first warning rule. If you have had no violations in the last 12 months, the first recorded non-payment will result in a warning instead of a fine. There will be no such leniency the second time.
The PAAS system started in Bratislava in January 2022 with three pilot zones and has been growing steadily since then. If your district is not yet included — it is most likely a matter of time.
