About the Faculty
The Evangelical Theological Faculty (Evanjelická bohoslovecká fakulta) is a structural part of Comenius University in Bratislava. This institution specializes in theological education within the Evangelical Lutheran tradition and actively cooperates with church structures. The faculty is located in the capital of Slovakia and has a long history of academic activity.
Studies at the faculty cover bachelor's, master's, and doctoral levels. Students study theology, pastoral practice, and religious studies with an emphasis on academic and practical preparation. The main language of instruction is Slovak, but individual courses may be taught in English or German.
For applicants from Ukraine, studies are free of charge, provided they have a sufficient level of Slovak language proficiency. Applications (prihláška) must be submitted by the end of February – beginning of March. A place in a dormitory (internát) can be obtained by a separate request through the university.
