Blueberry picking near Spiš Castle will last until the end of August

Do you want fresh berries straight from the bush with one of Europe's largest castle complexes in the background? This is now possible in the Spiš region: in the village of Jablonov, near Spiš Castle, the season for picking your own blueberries (čučoriedky) has begun.

The plantation is open to everyone and will operate approximately until the end of August. According to the owner, such a long season is possible thanks to three different varieties of berries that ripen one after another. This allows visitors to enjoy fresh blueberries throughout the summer.

What to know before you go

Picking your own berries is a great idea for a family weekend outing. You will not only get fresh and organic berries but also spend time in nature.
