Drivers who regularly use the Triblavinská road, which connects the Vajnory district with Ivanka pri Dunaji, will soon be able to drive on new asphalt. However, first, they will have to face some inconvenience: this weekend the road will be completely closed for repair work.

When and where will traffic be closed?

The complete closure of the Triblavinská road section (official designation III/1041) will begin on Saturday, July 18, at 06:00 and will last until Sunday evening, July 19.

The closure will affect the entire section between the exit from Bratislava's Vajnory district and the entrance to the village of Ivanka pri Dunaji. Travel will be impossible in both directions.

How to bypass the closed section?

The organizers of the work, the National Road Company (NDS), promise to install temporary road signs that will indicate detour routes.

Drivers are advised to plan their trips in advance and consider possible delays, especially if you are heading to the airport or have other urgent matters. Drivers should follow the temporary road signs for the detour.

The reason for the closure is the laying of new asphalt pavement. This repair is the final stage after the construction of the D4/D1 interchange, which will allow the road to be restored after intensive use by construction machinery. After the work is completed, drivers will have a more comfortable and safer road.
