About the Faculty
The Faculty of Law at Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice is one of the main legal centers in Eastern Slovakia. The institution educates specialists at the bachelor's, master's, and doctoral levels. The studies focus on civil, criminal, and international law.
Programs are taught in Slovak, English, and Czech. The educational process combines classic academic courses and specialized modules in European law. Students attend practice-oriented classes with the participation of courts and law firms.
To apply, you need to submit a prihláška (application form) and legalized documents about previous education with an official translation. Studies in Slovak are free; studies in other languages are paid. Dormitory accommodation (internát) is available for students, but its provision is not guaranteed.
