Slovakia introduces a new generation of electronic vignettes for 2026

National Motorway Company, NDS announced the launch of a new series of electronic vignettes (e-vignettes) for 2026. At the same time, NDS asks drivers to be careful when buying – the new vignette is valid earliest from January 1, 2026, so you must check the start date before paying.

In recent weeks, there have been cases where drivers bought a vignette with a later start date but immediately used toll highways. NDS reminds: entry to toll sections is allowed only if you have a valid electronic vignette.

Types and prices of electronic vignettes in Slovakia for 2026

The same tariffs apply to passenger cars and trailers up to 3.5 tons, as well as to trailers of categories O1 and O2 if the total technically permissible mass exceeds 3.5 tons.
