Film and Television Faculty
About the Faculty
The Film and Television Faculty is a part of the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava. This specialized institution in Slovakia's capital focuses on practical training for professionals in the film and media industry.
Study programs include directing, cinematography, editing, screenwriting, and producing. Students can pursue education at the bachelor's, master's, and doctoral levels. Teaching is mainly in Slovak, but some courses are available in English.
To apply, you need to submit an application form (prihláška) and a portfolio. Studies are free if you choose Slovak as the language of instruction. Dormitory accommodation is provided based on a competition, and documents must be submitted by the end of February.
