About the Faculty
The Faculty of Philosophy of Trnava University in Trnava is a humanities department located in the city of Trnava. The structure of the institution includes eight departments, including philosophy, history, psychology, political science, sociology, classical archaeology, classical languages, and art history.
Education at the university is mainly conducted in Slovak at the bachelor's and master's levels. Students receive academic training in humanities and social sciences, focusing on their chosen specialization.
For applicants from Ukraine, education is free if they know the Slovak language. Applications (prihláška) are accepted until the beginning of March, and the registration fee is 40 euros. Accommodation in a dormitory (internát) is provided upon a separate application.

How much does it cost to apply to the Faculty of Arts of Trnava University?+
The fee for admission to bachelor's studies is €40. An application for each program must be submitted separately, and the fee must be paid for each one. Payment is by bank transfer to the account of Trnavská univerzita v Trnave (IBAN SK35 8180 0000 0070 0024 1228, specific symbol 10002).
The faculty accepts applications exclusively in electronic form with mandatory attachments: proof of payment and certified copies of grade reports for years 1–3 of secondary school and the final secondary school certificate.

The deadline for submitting a completed and signed electronic application for bachelor's studies is April 30, 2026. The fee of €40 must be paid by the same deadline, along with proof of payment.
