About the Faculty
The Faculty of Engineering is a structural part of the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra. The institution is located in the city of Nitra and includes seven departments, such as the departments of electrical engineering, automation, informatics, physics, machine design, and technical safety.
The educational process includes bachelor's, master's, and doctoral levels. Students gain qualifications for work in the agro-industrial complex. The main language of instruction is Slovak, but some subjects may be taught in English.
For applicants from Ukraine, studies are free if they have a Slovak language proficiency of B2 level. The application submission (prihláška) lasts until the beginning of March, and the application fee is 35 euros. Students can submit a separate application for accommodation in a dormitory (internát).

How much does it cost to apply to the Faculty of Engineering of SPU in Nitra and when is the deadline?+
The fee for admission to bachelor's programs is €35 for an electronic application submitted through the SPU university system. One application can be submitted for two programs within the same fee.

What documents are needed for admission to the Faculty of Engineering of SPU and is tuition free?+
The electronic application must include a resume (CV), a copy of the maturity certificate, and proof of payment of the €35 fee. A certified copy of the maturity certificate should be sent to the faculty's student department (Tr. A. Hlinku 2, 949 76 Nitra).
SPU is a public university, so full-time study in Slovak within the standard period is free, including for Ukrainians with temporary protection status; only part-time study or exceeding the standard study period requires payment.
