The airline Wizz Air announced a big expansion of its presence in Slovakia. Starting from November 2025 to March 2026, the carrier will open 12 new routes from Bratislava airport. These include popular European cities like Rome, Berlin, and Larnaca, as well as less common destinations for tourists such as Ohrid, Pristina, and Tuzla.
The most expected event for Slovak passengers will be the reopening of direct flights between Bratislava and Kosice, planned to start on November 21, 2025. The plane will fly nine times a week. Tickets are already available in the Wizz Air mobile app and on the company's official website – www.wizzair.com.

Larnaca (Cyprus) – from January 12, 2026 – 3 times a week

Wizz Air strengthens its position in Slovakia
The expansion of the route network is linked to the opening of a new airline base at Bratislava airport. The Slovak base will house two new Airbus A321neo aircraft (each with 239 seats), increasing the number of based aircraft to four.
