On April 28, near the village of Ulič, Slovak police officers detained a citizen of Ukraine who was trying to bring ten men through the forest.
The police discovered the group right as they were crossing the border and moving deeper into the country. The guide was charged with the crime of human smuggling. The other detained people are at police stations for legal procedures based on their foreigner status.
