The town of Galanta invites you to the 40th anniversary year of the Galanta Fair, which will take place from August 13 to 15, 2026. This is a traditional event that combines a fair and trade character with a rich cultural and social program.
Visitors can expect an exceptional atmosphere, lots of music, entertainment, and concerts performed by famous Slovak and foreign artists. Among the confirmed artists are: Kandráčovci, Čechomor, No Name, Nikolas Takács, Carson Coma, Tina, Karmen-Pál Baláž, as well as a special foreign guest — Jenny from Ace of Base, who will perform her world hits such as "All That She Wants," "The Sign," and "Beautiful Life."
This year's Fair will feature several new additions, including a new "Youth Zone" at the ZŠ Štefánikova (Štefánikova Elementary School) area, which will operate from 7:00 PM to 3:00 AM, offering cultural entertainment, food, and drinks. The gastronomic zone on Main Street near the park will also be expanded. A traditional part of the event is the Wine Street in the area of the Neo-Gothic Castle in the city park, where wine lovers can enjoy a wide range of regional and foreign wineries.
The Galanta Fair is a significant cultural and social event that provides an opportunity for meetings and social life, offering quality cultural, sports, and entertainment activities for all age groups. The event has long gone beyond the town and has gained a supra-regional character.
