About the Faculty
The Faculty of Philosophy is a structural part of the Catholic University in Ružomberok, founded in 2000. The institution is located in the city of Ružomberok and includes departments of English Language, Philosophy, History, Psychology, Slovak Language, and Journalism.
The educational process is conducted at the bachelor's and master's levels, mainly in Slovak. Some courses may be available in English upon request, but this is not a guaranteed option for all faculty programs.
To enroll, applicants from Ukraine must provide a nostrification of their education document and confirm their knowledge of the Slovak language at the B2 level. Application submission (prihláška) lasts until the beginning of March, and the admission fee is 25 euros. Studying in Slovak is free for EU students.

How much does admission to the Faculty of Philosophy of the Catholic University in Ružomberok cost?+
The fee for admission to bachelor's programs is €25 for an electronic application via the website ff.ku.sk or €30 for a classic paper application (ŠEVT). The electronic form is cheaper and more convenient. Payment is made by bank transfer to the account of Štátna pokladnica (State Treasury) (7 000 224 399/8180).
This is one of the lowest admission fees among Slovak faculties of philosophy, making the faculty an affordable option for applicants.

When is the application deadline for FF KU in Ružomberok for 2026/2027?+
Admission to bachelor's programs is open until June (2nd round, for all programs except psychology). Psychology has separate, usually earlier deadlines and admission requirements, so check the dates separately for it.
