The international organ festival Vivat vox organi will bring two exclusive music concerts to Banská Bystrica at the end of July. An exceptional gospel-soul group, The Carpenter Ants, with singer John Ellison, will come from West Virginia, and from France – accordionist Marie-Andrée Joerger and organist Vincent Dubois.
On July 28, 2026, at 7:30 PM, in the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Radvaň, the American group The Carpenter Ants will perform with award-winning singer John Ellison. John Ellison is the singer, lead guitarist, and songwriter of the famous American music group Soul Brothers Six, and the author of the hit "She’s Some Kind of Wonderful," which has been recorded by over 50 different artists.
On July 31, 2026, at 7:30 PM, in the St. Francis Xavier Cathedral, the program "French touch" will be presented, featuring a unique combination of organ and classical accordion. The main performers will be Marie-Andrée Joerger and Vincent Dubois, who will perform French music from the Romantic, Impressionist, and Modern periods.
