FILM SQUARE FEST 2026 continues the long tradition of film festivals in Trenčín and Trenčianske Teplice. This year is the 6th festival, which will offer quality films from around the world, awards for outstanding artists, a program for children and youth, and educational and discussion platforms for the general public.
Great open-air screenings await you on the largest inflatable screen AIRCREEN, set up on Mierové námestie in Trenčín. Unique cinematic experiences will be complemented by the chance to meet film directors and awarded artists in person.
This year, the main part of the program will take place in KKC Hviezda due to the reconstruction of ArtKina Metro. Screenings will also be held in Café Sládkovič, on the summer terrace of Coffee Sheep cafe, and directly on Mierové námestie in Trenčín, where popular open-air screenings will take place.
On Saturday, before the evening screening, the crystal plaques for the Artist's mission award will be presented for significant artistic contribution. On Sunday afternoon, the awarded artists will ceremonially attach a brass plaque with their name to the Bridge of Fame in Trenčianske Teplice.
