The organization "Ukrainian Students in Slovakia" (USS) specializes in comprehensive support for applicants. The organization's experts provide individual career guidance, helping to choose the best university and major based on the candidate's skills and wishes, which significantly increases the chances of successful self-realization for the future student.
An important part of the USS service is its own language school, which offers adaptive teaching methods. In parallel with language training, specialists handle the entire volume of bureaucratic work. This includes collecting documents, bringing them to international standards, notarization, and directly submitting applications to universities or schools without the applicant needing to be present.
USS organizes transfers directly from the applicant's place of residence in Ukraine to the place of study, providing curator support during settlement in dormitories or apartments. A separate priority is meeting the formal requirements of Slovak legislation: preparing a full package of documents for obtaining a student residence permit (VNP), opening bank accounts, and standardizing medical certificates and extracts according to international requirements.
The organization's mission goes beyond simple intermediation, focusing on the long-term adaptation of young people. USS curators stay in touch throughout the entire adaptation period, helping to overcome fear of the unknown and solve everyday issues in the new country.
