EDUCATE agency is an educational agency that has been helping Ukrainian applicants enroll in Slovak universities for free (without NMT/ZNO exams) for over 10 years.

We support families from start to finish: from career guidance and choosing a university to preparing documents, the admission process, moving, and helping the child adapt to the new country.

Within the agency, we have our own online language school: over 24 teachers teach the Slovak language from level A1 to C1, with the possibility of obtaining a certificate needed for admission and comfortable study at the university.

Slovakia: University admission after 11th grade If you finished secondary school in Slovakia, you can apply to university after completing the 11th grade. This is usually at age 18 or 19. If you finished secondary school in another country, you need to have your foreign diploma recognized in Slovakia. This process is called "nostrifikácia". You usually apply for nostrifikácia at a specific secondary school that offers a similar program to the one you finished. After you get your diploma recognized (or if you finished school in Slovakia), you can apply to universities. Each university has its own admission requirements and deadlines. You will need to submit your application form, your secondary school diploma (or its recognized copy), and possibly other documents like a motivation letter or proof of language skills. Some universities might also require you to take an entrance exam. It is important to check the specific requirements of the university and program you are interested in. You can usually find this information on the university's website.
